If you do NOT have a WebKey username/password, you can still access the Student Edition newsgroups using any news client. If you are running Windows, use the URL news://openforum.ugs.com to invoke the Outlook Express news client, and add the openforum.ugs.com news server into your configuration.

Without authenticating using a WebKey username/password, you will see a list of Student Edition newsgroups (by product) that allow for posting. As always, the openforum.ugs.com news server should work with any news client. If you DO authenticate using a WebKey username/password, you will see ALL the newsgroups. If you DO NOT authenticate, you will see only the Student Edition newsgroups.
