A: This is a browser interface for customers
who can't use a typical NNTP (port 119) news client. The bbsnotes.ugs.com news
server can be accessed via a news client (i.e. news://bbsnotes.ugs.com/misc.news)
or via any web browser (i.e. http://bbsnotes.ugs.com). |
| Q: How long are articles kept? |
A: The bbsnotes NEWS server does not expire
or delete messages. There are no plans to expire or delete any articles posted
on the bbsnotes server. |
| Q: Who can participate? |
A: Any UGS customer (under maintenance) with a
WebKey username and password is able to participate in the bbsnotes discussion
groups. |
| Q: What can we talk about? |
A: You can talk about almost any topic you
want, regarding UGS, and its myriad of products. Most of the time, you will
be talking with other customers, but sometimes a UGS employee will participate. |
| Q: Where can I get a WebKey account? |
A: You can get a WebKey account by clicking
here. You will
need your Sold-To number and WebKey Access Code. If you are having
problems creating an account, simply contact GTAC at (800) 955-0000 and
selecting option 2,6 from the main menu. |
